Toyota Aqua: the baby Prius arrives in 2012


Toyota announced today that they would launch (in Japan) on next January an hybrid compact-car called Aqua. 

Set to be more affordable and frugal than the Prius it should achieve a 2.5l per 100km fuel economy (a record), and with a price decreased by 300,000 yen (€ 2,880 at today’s exchange rate).

This vehicle will use the same technology as the Prius


As for the design of this compact-car, the fact that Toyota recently patented the design of the FT-CH (also known as the Concept C) in China is quite a good indication...
