(VIDEO) The Opel Ampera gets 5 stars at the Euro NCAP crash test
24 August 2011Opel's range-extender sedan, which shares its platform and technology with the Chevrolet Volt, just passed the EuroNCAP crash test and gets a 5 stars rating.
The Chevrolet Volt had already been tested by the IIHS (the reference in the USA) and also got very good results.
That should reassure some sceptics on the safety of electric and hybrid vehicles.
