The Kia Venga electric arrives in 2012

Named Venga EV, at first, the car took the form of a concept in last year’s Geneva Motor Show.

Kia Europe has just announced that the car is currently in testing phase before a launch in late 2012.

Its engine develops 80hp, allowing it to reach 100kph in 8.1 seconds, top speed is limited to 130kph while the range is listed at 140km.

For the moment, no information on its price have been revealed.

Regarding volumes, the Korean brand plans to sell 2500 units in 2013.
